Assessment & Treatment Sessions
The length of your child's appointment will vary depending on their needs. This will be discussed and agreed at the time of booking.
All appointments will take place in the comfort of your own home as I really feel children (and parents) are so much more relaxed and calm in their own environment, which leads to much more successful physiotherapy input.

Please note there may be an additional travel cost incurred if you live more than 5 miles from Chelmsford - this will be discussed and agreed at the time of booking your initial appointment.

Initial assessment - home visit
The length of your initial assessment will usually be 45-60 minutes and will take place in your own home. The initial assessment will include a treatment plan and if required an exercise programme

Follow up appointments - home visit
The length of your follow up appointment will usually be between 30 and 60 minutes and will take place in your own home. The length of follow up appointment required will be discussed and agreed with you at your child's initial appointment. Each session will include treatment and exercise programme as required

Baby MOT/Under 2's Development Check
If you are concerned about any aspect of your child’s growth and development or other physical issues, or if you would just like some reassurance or advice, Jumping Jacks offers a full developmental assessment.
The check is a thorough physical examination looking for any problems with the child's muscles or bones, any asymmetries and any signs of motor development delay. I will then be able to advise if your child needs treatment or if you just need some reassurance and advice. Early physiotherapy diagnosis is key to quick and successful treatment if it is needed.

Virtual Physiotherapy
In light of COVID-19 and the rules on social distancing, I am now offering virtual appointments for both existing and new patients. Appointments are carried out on SKYPE or ZOOM. Please note virtual appointments will not be safe and/or appropriate for every child so please get in touch today to discuss your child's needs.
